Apply to actively growing weeds between April and November. Some weeds such as nettles have different timeframes, please refer to the manufacturers label for more information.
Do not apply manure, fertiliser or pesticides to treated areas until at least 5 days after application.
It may take up to 14 days to see destruction of treated weeds, do not apply more product before 14 days.
Weeds should be thoroughly wetted with the spray solution but not until there is a run-off.
Roundup Biactive XLA is a herbicide used for the control of a large variety of weeds including grass.
Roundup BiactiveXLA can be used in both knapsack and boom sprayers making it extremely cost efficient.
Caution is advised when using RoundUp as it can kill most plants it comes in contact with. Use on a dry, calm day to avoid drift of spray onto desirable crops or plants.
RoundUp is a concentrate and is mixed with water. Recommended mixing rates for watering can and sprayer can be found on the label. Always read the label before using any spray product.
Dilution Rate: Dilution rates vary depending by situation. These rates start from 30ml per litre of water through to 60ml per litre. Please refer to the manufacturers label for a full list of dilution rates.
