Offering a truly versatile Woodstain solution, Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain can be used on a wide variety of wooden surfaces, both interior and exterior. That’s why it’s at the core of our range. Whether it’s used alone or alongside another product, it provides an exceptional finish, each and every time.

Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain absorbs deeply into the timber to provide exceptional protection against the weather. It is particularly effective used on it’s own on large areas of timber such as decking, fencing, cladding, and garden furniture. It is also the perfect basecoat for new doors and windows, which can then be overcoated with Sadolin Extra, Sadolin Clearcoat, Sadolin Yacht Varnish or Sadolin Outdoor Varnish.

Alternatively use Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain to add colour to interior wood, followed by a protective topcoat of Sadolin Polyurethane Varnish or Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish.

Available in a choice of over 50 shades including tintable colours.

Not suitable to use on surfaces previously coated with a medium/high build coating. The colours represented on our website are not an exact match to the colours within the can of Woodstain you purchase, if in doubt we suggest you try a sample pot first.

Recommended usage:
On it’s own – decking, fencing, cladding, sheds, fascia’s, garden furniture and garden buildings

Basecoat – new windows, doors, interior flooring and furniture

Coverage for each coat:
Planed softwood or hardwood up to 15m²/litre
Rough sawn timber up to 8m²/litre

Drying time:
Touch dry 4 – 6 hours
Recoat 16 – 24 hours
